Below are some answers to the most common questions producers may have about site usage and other directory details.
How soon will talent respond to my emails?
If you're in a pinch and really need a talent right away, call us first and we'll help you secure the talent.
Otherwise, just know that talent response times will vary from person to person. Some are at the ready, full-time voice talent with excellent communication practices and turn-around times. Others may have obligations that tie them up from time to time and some may take as long as 24 hours. If you're having any trouble getting in contact with any of the people in the directory just let us know. We'll try to help you out. We usually know who is available all the time and who is not.
We need bi-lingual voice over talent. Can you help?
Yes. We maintain contact with a lot of high quality international voice talent and usually only deal with bi-lingual speakers who understand localization characteristics for many foreign languages, including French, Turkish and Spanish. We'll happily help you locate quality talent in a variety of different languages for any project you may be trying to cast.
Do you or the talent offer production services such as music and sound effects?
Yes. Here at the studio we offer full production services and many of the talent offer those services as well. When it comes to completing a project on time and on budget, we have an assortment of production options available to get the job done.
How much does it cost to hire the talent in your directory?
Everyone in the directory is responsible for setting their own rates and negotiating their own business agreements. In cases where producers need help securing talent, recordings, payment transactions, etc. we can offer assistance and answer questions at any point in the process. Talent pricing will be all over the map for some projects and it is best if you expect standard industry rates for most projects. For an explanation of standard industry rates feel free to contact us. One thing you shouldn't expect from any of the talent in the directory is a bidding war. We don't do "project to the lowest bidder" work here. When looking for talent for a project in this directory, have a price in mind and say what that price is when contacting the talent. You'll get a lot more responses from much better talent that way.
Will these voice over talent work on any kind of project?
Name it. If there is something that needs to be recorded or produced and it requires a voice, the people in this directory are more than equipped and qualified to work on it and there are specialists in every field.
